Take Action
What We Do
Animals end up here because someone gave up on them. Bought a rabbit for Easter, got tired of the horse, moved and left the goats behind. We take them in. They stay for life.
A Real Home
No transfers. No time limits. No exceptions. An animal that comes here lives out its life here. That's the deal.
Our promise
Telling Their Stories
Most people have no idea what happens to an animal after it's abandoned. We go to schools, community groups, anyone who'll listen, and we tell them. Because the more people know, the fewer animals end up here.
What we teach
We Need Your Help
Did You Know?
80% of Rabbits
80% of rabbits that are purchased for Easter die or are abandoned within the first year of ownership. We have 14 of them right here. They're not going anywhere.
10 Million Deaths
Over 10 million animals die from abuse or neglect every year in the United States alone. That's why sanctuaries like ours exist.
75% of Birds
Mira Tweti estimates that 75% of birds live a life of abuse, neglect or abandonment. We've taken in dozens. They're safe now.
6.3 Million Animals
Approximately 6,300,000 companion animals enter U.S. shelters every year. Your donation helps the ones who end up with us.
They can't ask for help. So we're asking for them.

Running a Sanctuary Isn't Cheap
Vet bills add up. Feed prices keep climbing. We go through 200 bales of hay a month. And every animal that comes here stays for life. That's years of daily care, not weeks. Your money goes to the animals. All of it.
Wishlist
Send Something From Our Wishlist
Hay, bedding, bleach, medications. We put together an Amazon wishlist with what we actually go through. Everything on it gets used within days.
